What this is

This is not just a course. It is a four-month intensive programme built around your actual coaching.

You bring real sessions. You are observed. You receive detailed, direct feedback on what is happening in your coaching conversations, what is working, what is not, and exactly what needs to change. The work is applied immediately with your own clients, so the development shows up where it matters.

The Level 3 Cohort is aligned to ICF Level 3 requirements. The 84 hours earned count toward your MCC application. Asynchronous 36 hours Synchronous 48 hours

Why coaches choose the Simplicity of Mastery Level 3 Cohort

Four things that set this programme apart from other ICF Level 3 accredited advanced coach training programmes.

Taught directly by the originator, not delegated to faculty.

Tony Latimer MCC created the Simplicity of Mastery work and teaches every session of the Level 3 Cohort personally. Unlike large training programmes that rely on rosters of licensed faculty, participants learn the thinking, judgement and subtle coaching capabilities of the work directly from its source.

Led by an active senior executive coach, not a full-time trainer.

Tony's coaching practice with C-suite leaders in multinational corporations has been running since 2001 and now stands at over 25,000 hours. Participants are learning from a coach whose active practice is still with the level of client many of them aspire to serve.

Institutionally credentialed to the highest level in the profession.

Tony has been an ICF Master Certified Coach since 2008, one of the first examined MCC coaches globally. He served as an ICF Global Credentialing Assessor from 2008 to 2014 and as a member of the ICF Global Coach Training Task Force from 2018 to 2022. He is a contributing author to the ICF Thought Leadership Institute's 2026 Coaching Futures Report.

Built around real observed coaching, not lecture-based theory.

Participants bring real issues from coaching sessions with their own clients into the cohort for observation and detailed feedback. The Level 3 Cohort is a working programme grounded in what actually happens in coaching conversations, not a course of theoretical study.

"The key difference is his introduction to working with energy. Getting out of the head, not trying to figure out the next question to ask, but being fully present on an energy level with that other person. That's the key difference. And this is all stuff people are able to learn through going through this course."

Who this is for

This programme is for you if:

  • You hold a current PCC credential
  • You have an active coaching practice
  • You intend to apply for MCC in the coming 18 months
  • You want structured preparation, not just more theory and reading
  • You want to learn from a coach who is an active "C suite" corporate practitioner
  • You are already coaching at a high level and ready for expert eyes on your real sessions

What you learn

The Simplicity of Mastery™ programme brings together a set of principles and practices that develop mastery-level coaching capability in real client conversations.

COACHING AT THE SPEED OF THOUGHT
Subconscious connection takes your communication skills to a deeper level. You learn to listen from your subconscious, and to take your client into their subconscious, allowing a subconscious-to-subconscious connection to emerge. From this place, coaching happens at the speed of thought.

COACHING WITHOUT MODELS
ICF says “. . if the coach cannot move beyond prepared questions, structures and models, they will never be awarded mastery . .”. Simplicity of Mastery™ will teach you how to find your perfect coaching style, not emulating the rigid models of someone else.

THE FLOW OF MASTERY
Mastery in coaching is a fully present, connected and in the moment experience. You will learn how to work in the four dimensions of coaching to understand the flow and directions; and how to make the coaching move energetically even when you don't know what's actually happening.

PROFITABLE LEADERSHIP®
Profitable Leadership is a set of frameworks that help leaders identify where their time is spent and what changes they need to make. Then you, as their coach, can help them with how to make those changes. You will learn these frameworks and how to apply them in coaching your clients. Regardless of whether you're a life coach, a business coach, or an executive coach, they will be applicable to all areas of your clients' life. You'll be able to help them discover how to get more clarity on where they are now, where they want to be, and how to get there.

UNDERSTANDING MASTERY
An exploration of the core competencies; what is expected to be demonstrated at MCC level; and how this builds on, and differs from, the PCC markers.

ENERGETIC PRESENCE
Coaching is like getting your black belt in martial arts. You can just get over the bar, or you can progress further on the path to a deeper level of mastery. This is the path that utilises energetic connection. Everything in the universe is made up of energy. You are energy in one form, I'm energy in another form, and the space between us is energy. All matter is energy, it's all connected. In Simplicity of Mastery™ you will learn how to make those connections, how to feel those connections and how to use them in your coaching.

THE THREE LAWS OF COACHING™
Underlying this work is Tony Latimer's Three Laws of Coaching™. A simple set of principles that define what coaching as a mode of communication actually is. Inspired by the clarity of Isaac Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics, they provide a universal reference point for coaching communication and how it differs from other forms of conversation, including managing, advising, mentoring or teaching.

You will learn how to use the Three Laws of Coaching™ as a clear reference point for understanding and evaluating coaching conversations, ensuring everything you do remains fully centred on the client and the outcome they need to achieve.

How the learning works

The Simplicity of Mastery programme combines structured learning with real-world coaching practise and direct feedback. The aim is not to just study coaching in theory, but to develop mastery in the moment of real coaching conversations and evolve your own unique style of mastery.

ONLINE LEARNING MATERIALS
The programme includes structured online learning materials for self-study that introduce the principles and frameworks behind mastery-level coaching. These materials provide the intellectual foundation for the work, allowing you to explore the ideas in your own time and return to them as your skill deepens.

REAL CLIENT APPLICATION
Everything you learn is applied with your own coaching clients. This ensures that the work never stays theoretical or academic. Each concept is tested in real coaching conversations, allowing you to see directly how it affects the quality and depth of your coaching.

LIVE TUTORIALS
Weekly live tutorials provide the opportunity to explore the work in practice. Coaches bring real client situations and questions from their client work, and we explore them together; taking a deep dive into the learning and its application, developing your energetic coaching capability, and undertake guided coaching practice.

OBSERVATION AND FEEDBACK
Mastery develops through application and reflection. In the Level 3 cohort this includes observed coaching and detailed feedback on your coaching conversations, helping you refine your skill and prepare for the MCC assessment.

A COMMUNITY OF SERIOUS COACHES
You will be learning alongside other credentialed coaches who are actively working with clients and committed to developing their mastery. The shared exploration of real coaching situations creates an environment that is both supportive and intellectually demanding.

What is included

Four-Month Structured Programme

84 hours ICF Level 3 aligned. The work focuses on the specific behaviours that distinguish MCC-level coaching from PCC, and on developing them consistently in real coaching conversations. You are not studying for a credential — you are building the coaching that earns one.

Weekly self-study

We recommend you allow at least two hours per week for content study of lectures and demonstrations, application planning to your clients, and reflection.

Weekly 2.5 hour live tutorials

You bring insights from your client sessions and self-study. Then we dig deep and prepare you to re-apply your knowledge the following week.

Observed Coaching with Detailed Feedback

You bring your coaching sessions. Tony observes and gives specific, direct feedback — what is happening in the conversation, what the impact is on the client's thinking, and precisely what needs to change. This is the core of the programme.

7 Hours Group Mentor Coaching

A small cohort of serious practitioner coaches working toward the same goal. You learn from observing others as well as from your own sessions. Peers at this level are part of the development environment.

3 Hours Individual Mentor Coaching

Direct one-to-one time, focused on your specific coaching patterns and what your sessions reveal about where you are and where you need to get to.

Six Months of Professional Membership Tutorial Access

Included from day one and running for two months after the programme ends. You attend live monthly tutorials throughout — hands-on, practical sessions alongside the cohort work. This connects you to the broader community of credentialed coaches in Simplicity of Mastery throughout your MCC preparation.

Post-Cohort Membership

After your six months of included access, you are welcome to continue as a Professional Member at $100 per month — the cohort alumni rate, compared to the standard $125.

Mastery is not a destination. The work of deepening your coaching continues beyond the MCC application, and the Simplicity of Mastery community is where that ongoing development lives.

Full Professional Membership gives you access to the complete learning library, hundreds of hours of recorded tutorials, and a community of credentialed coaches who are serious about their practice.

Dr. Pat Williams, MCC BCC

"The way I coached 30 years ago is way different than it is now. Tony's given me a fresh look and a fresh feel. He brings up a lot about the client's energy, and I teach my mentees to notice energy. But Tony's got a whole different way of going into the depth of the person's subconscious, without getting all woogety boogety. It's very simple, and it's what I studied in psychology years ago. The whole person approach and transpersonal aspects of that."

Winston Chue, MCC

"Once you are able to get it, you're able to coach what Tony calls 'coaching at the speed of thought.' You're able to go in really far. In the past I would say, wow, this guy can coach a topic within 30 minutes. Now I'm able to coach two or three topics in 40 minutes. I still need lots of practise, but this is an experience I wouldn't know I could do until I attended."

Fran Fisher, MCC

"I have had the experience of being coached by Tony.

He ranks as the top coach.

His gift of deepest listening is very powerful, and he's training others to listen like he listens."

"Tony is just such a gem. Obviously he's very smart, he has a lot of experience.

But there's just something about his presence, maybe it's his energy, that's what he's bringing to this course and community. All of the recorded videos just seem to be infused with this lovely presence, and I really appreciate that."

Daria Sviridova, PCC

"Tony's methodology is the perfect way to learn about contracting.

This is really the most important part of the course. The contract, competency number three.

Now it is 100% clear how to make one."

Georgy Simonyan, PCC

"What matters is the quality you are bringing to people and how deeply you can really help them. That's why I invite all coaches to study intensively. Do not stop after you get PCC and wait until you are close to 2,000 hours to start working on MCC. You will just accumulate hours at the same quality without developing yourself. Keep developing, and the world will pay you for it with better clients and better paying clients."

About Tony Latimer

Tony Latimer has been an ICF Master Certified Coach since 2008, awarded the MCC as one of the first through the examined process, as approximately the 103rd MCC globally. Fewer than 4% of ICF credentialed coaches worldwide hold this designation. He has run an independent executive coaching practice since 2001, working directly with C-suite leaders and senior executives in multinational corporations across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. His coaching log now stands at over 25,000 hours. Participants in the Simplicity of Mastery programme are learning from a coach whose active practice is still with the level of client they aim to serve.

Beyond his own practice, Tony has spent much of the past twenty-five years contributing to how the coaching profession develops globally. He served as an ICF Global Credentialing Assessor from 2008 to 2014, was a Member of the ICF Global Coach Training Task Force from 2018 to 2022, and is a contributing author of the ICF Thought Leadership Institute's 2026 Coaching Futures Report. He is a Founding Member and Past President of ICF Singapore, and currently leads the ICF Singapore Community of Practice for Coaching Skills Enhancement. He was also a Founding Cohort Board Certified Coach in 2012.

Tony's first exposure to coach training was in 1984, through Timothy Gallwey's Inner Game. What began there has been distilled, through four decades of practice and teaching, into the Simplicity of Mastery programme. The Level 3 Cohort is taught directly by Tony, not delegated to junior faculty. Participants therefore learn the thinking, judgement, and subtle coaching capabilities of the work directly from its source. He is the author of Selling Yourself to Corporates, with two further books forthcoming: Who Coaches Whom and The Three Laws of Coaching™.
